New bed: From baby to big girl
Deciding to upgrade Braylie's bed from a crib to a toddler bed took me a long time. I just was not ready for her to accept that she was old enough for a toddler bed. She had just turned three and we finally converted her bed from a crib to a toddler bed. The transition was easy for her. She has always been a really good sleeper so I was never worried about the transition of the change.
Forward to 6 months later and we are preparing for Christmas. Chris and I discussed quite often about what we should do for Braylie for Christmas. If you have seen her room you know that she has more than enough toys so we didn't really want to get her tons of toys that she would play with one time and then throw in her toy basket never to be seen or played with again. That is when I knew what we should do! It was time to convert her bed from toddler to a full. The crib she has was a 4-in-1 so it was able to grow with her. Braylie was so excited that Santa brought her a big girl bed.
My sweet girl will be 4 years old in May so finally transitioning her from a "baby" room to a "big girl" room was hard but fun for me. I am so sad at how fast she is growing but I was able to add her favorite color (Pink, like her mommy) and unicorns to still make her big girl room fit her personality. Everyone knows how much we l o v e going to Target and I have found the perfect additions right in the dollar section. Her bedding is from Beddy's Beds in the pattern "Dash" and the blanket is the "Spotted blanket" also from Beddy's. I'm loving her room and I think I'm finally finished with it. At least for now! I will link everything below.
